The protection level decides how readily 1krBlocker holds a message back. Change it in Settings → Protection level.
- Relaxed: Fewer warnings. Only clear scams are held back.
- Balanced (recommended): Holds back likely scams and warns about anything unusual.
- Strict: Holds back more messages for you to review. Some ordinary messages may be held too.
Which to choose:
- Most people: Balanced.
- You get many genuine messages from new numbers or services (deliveries, appointments) and find quarantine too busy: Relaxed.
- You, or someone you set the phone up for, is a frequent scam target, or you'd rather check things yourself: Strict.
The level changes what happens with uncertain messages. Clear dangers (links to known dangerous websites, harmful attachments) are always held back, at every level. Your rules and trusted senders still apply.
