You can name people instead of saying numbers: "Remind me to call Mark Sutton tomorrow", "Text Anna that I'm late".
How it works: the assistant passes only the name to the app; 1krNote looks the name up in your contacts on the phone and puts the number into the note or the message. The number is never sent to the AI or to our server; the AI is only told whether the person was found.
- The first time, the phone asks whether 1krNote may access your contacts. You can say no and tell the assistant the number instead.
- Several people match ("Anna"): the assistant asks for the full name.
- Nobody matches: it asks for the number or the full name.
To change your answer later: on Android, Settings → Apps → 1krNote → Permissions → Contacts; on iPhone, Settings → 1krNote → Contacts.
Choosing a number by hand in the note form uses the phone's contact picker and needs no permission at all.
