When creating a note, Expire after: … lets the note delete itself:
- No expire (the default): it stays until you delete it.
- 2 days or 7 days: counted from the note's own date and time. After that it's removed the next time you open the app, with its photos, videos and voice memos.
Useful for short-lived things: a parking spot, a door code, a shopping list.
Expired notes can't be brought back, so don't use expiry for anything you might need later.
On Android, versions of 1krNote before November 2026 only applied expiry when the app's language was English; update the app if notes don't disappear.
