1krBlocker works without an account. You only need to link the phone to your 1kr account to use your plan's features on it, such as Deep check.
To link it:
- On a computer or your phone's browser, sign in at 1kr.uk and open Phones.
- Under Link a 1krBlocker phone, tap Create a link code. You get a short code.
- In 1krBlocker, open Settings → Link this phone.
- Type the code in Code and tap Link this phone.
The app then says "This phone is linked to your account." and shows your plan. Linking sends the phone's public keys and a Google Play check to the server; your messages stay on your phone.
If it doesn't work:
- "That code doesn't work. A code works once, for 10 minutes.": create a new code on the website and type it within 10 minutes.
- "All the phones your plan covers are already linked. Remove one of them first, then try again.": open Phones on the website, remove a phone you don't use any more, then try again.
- "Too many attempts. Try again in a few minutes.": wait a few minutes before trying again.
- "Couldn't reach the server. Check your connection and try again.": check the phone's internet connection.
- A message that Google Play couldn't confirm the app: see "Google Play couldn't verify this phone".
1krBlocker uses link codes; 1krNote signs in with your e-mail and password instead.
