The AI Voice Assistant is a voice chat with an AI that knows your notes. Open the AI Chat tab and tap Start Voice Chat, then just talk.
It can:
- Find notes by meaning: "What did I note about the dentist?" finds the note even if it says "check-up on Friday". The notes it finds appear on screen; tap one to open it.
- Create notes and reminders: "Remind me tomorrow at 10 to call the plumber". It can add a phone number or e-mail you say to the note's contact fields.
- Use your contacts by name: "Text Mark Sutton that I'm late". The number is looked up on your phone (the phone asks for contacts access the first time); it's never sent to the AI.
- Prepare a text message or an e-mail with a note's content. It opens in your own messages or e-mail app, and nothing is sent until you tap Send there.
- See with the camera: turn the camera on during the chat and show it something.
- Speak your language: choose the voice language and an assistant style in Settings → Account.
The chat ends when you say goodbye ("that's all, thanks"), tap end, or stay quiet for a while.
Who can use it: the AI is part of Starter (with your own Google Gemini key), Pro and Max. On the free plan the app says "The AI Assistant isn't part of this account's plan.". See "Using the AI with your own Gemini key".
AI answers can be wrong. It isn't medical, legal or financial advice. If it says something harmful, tap Report AI response.
