Starter uses your own AI key in both apps, so one Starter covers 1krBlocker and 1krNote. When one app has a plan and the other has none, the other app gets Starter automatically.
| Your plan in one app | The other app (if it has no plan of its own) |
|---|---|
| Free | Free |
| Starter, free with your key | Starter, free (with sponsored cards), ending on the same day |
| A paid plan (Starter, Plus, Family, Pro, Max) | Starter (no sponsored cards), for as long as that plan lasts |
An app's own plan always wins. For example: Starter in both apps, then you buy Pro for 1krNote: 1krNote has Pro, and 1krBlocker keeps Starter.
On the website's Overview, a shared Starter says where it comes from, for example "Starter (free) · with your 1krNote plan".
Things to know:
- Starter needs your own AI key in your account to do anything. 1krNote's AI needs a Google Gemini key; with an OpenAI key, 1krNote's Starter shows "Add a Gemini key to use it."
- Each app counts its own phones: Starter covers 1 phone per app.
