A 1kr account is one account for both apps, 1krBlocker and 1krNote. You create it once at 1kr.uk (or in 1krNote on iPhone) with your e-mail and a password.
What it's for:
- Plans: each app has its own plan, and one Starter covers both apps (see "One Starter for both apps").
- Your phones: see and remove the phones signed in to your account.
- Your own AI key: one key, used by Starter in both apps.
- Billing, your data and account deletion, all on the website.
You don't always need one: 1krBlocker's protection works without an account; you only link a phone to use a plan's features. 1krNote's notes and reminders also work without one; the AI assistant needs an account with a plan.
Signing in on a phone:
- 1krBlocker: link the phone with a one-time code from the website (see "Link your phone to your 1kr account").
- 1krNote: sign in in the app with your e-mail and password.
The website (1kr.uk) has these sections: Overview, Plans, Billing, Phones, AI key, Security (password and two-step sign-in) and Your data.
Your notes and messages are never stored in your account: they stay on your phone.
