A scam got through: what to do

New scams appear every day, and some get through any filter. If a scam reached your inbox:

  1. Don't tap the link, reply or call back.
  2. In the message's menu, tap Mark as spam: it moves to quarantine, and 1krBlocker offers Always block similar messages, Only this sender or Block links to … for its link.
  3. Report it to 7726 or CERT Polska, so networks can stop it for everyone (see "Reporting a scam text").
  4. If you have Deep check, run it on the message and donate it: that helps 1krBlocker's detection learn the new trick.

If you already tapped a link or entered details: call your bank straight away on the number on your card, change the password you typed, and don't install anything the page asked for. If you installed an app from the link, remove it and run Play Protect.

Also check that 1krBlocker is still your SMS app: if it isn't, new messages aren't checked at all (see "Protection is off").
